Privacy Policy
Last updated Sep 2, 2026 · v1
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information NiceSnus (the "Site") collects when you browse the Site or place an order, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run the store and fulfil your orders.
1. What we collect
- Contact details: your name, email address and phone number, as entered at checkout or when you contact us.
- Shipping address: the address you enter at checkout, so we can deliver your order.
- Order history: the products you ordered, amounts, order status and payment result, and any correspondence about the order.
- Technical data: your IP address, browser user agent and the time of the request when you place an order or access order information. We use this for fraud prevention and security.
- Email verification codes: when you look up an order as a guest, we send a one-time code to the email address on the order and record its use, so that only the person who placed the order can view it.
2. What we do not collect
We never see or store your full card number, expiry date or security code. Card details are entered directly into our payment processor's secure form. We receive only the result of the payment and, where the processor provides it, a masked reference such as the card brand and last four digits.
We do not collect your date of birth or identity documents. Age confirmation on the Site is a self-declaration.
3. Why we use your information
- To fulfil your orders: process payment, pack and ship the products, and handle after-sales requests.
- Transactional emails: order confirmations, order status updates and verification codes. These are service messages about your order, not marketing.
- Fraud prevention and security: to detect and prevent fraudulent orders, misuse of payment methods and attacks on the Site.
- Legal record-keeping: to keep the order and payment records that tax, accounting and consumer-protection laws require us to retain.
- Support: to answer your questions and resolve problems with an order.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that need it to help us run the store, and only for the purposes above:
- Payment processor: processes your card payment and receives the information needed to do so, such as the order amount and your contact and address details.
- Email delivery provider: delivers our transactional emails to your address.
- Shipping carriers: receive your name, address and phone number to deliver the parcel.
- Hosting and database providers: store and run the Site and its data on our behalf.
These providers process your information only as needed to provide their services and are bound by their own obligations to keep it secure. We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our customers or others.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
5. How long we keep it
Order records (including your contact details, shipping address and order history) are kept for as long as the law requires us to retain them for tax, accounting and consumer-protection purposes, and for as long as needed to handle any dispute about an order. The IP address and browser details recorded with an order are kept with that order for the same retention period as the order; other technical logs used for security and fraud prevention are kept only for a limited time. Verification codes expire shortly after they are sent. A shopping cart is linked to a random token stored in a cookie on your device, not to your identity, until you start checkout and enter your details; a cart that never becomes an order is not used for any other purpose.
6. Marketing
We do not send marketing emails unless you have expressly opted in. Transactional emails about your order are sent regardless, because they are part of the service.
7. Cookies
The Site uses only strictly necessary cookies, which are required for the Site to work:
- a cookie that remembers the contents of your shopping cart;
- a cookie that lets you view an order you have placed or verified without re-entering a code;
- a cookie that remembers that you have confirmed your age, so you are not asked on every visit.
We do not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, and we do not load third-party tracking scripts. Because only strictly necessary cookies are used, we do not ask for cookie consent. You can delete these cookies at any time through your browser settings, but parts of the Site (such as the cart) will then stop working.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is inaccurate or out of date;
- delete your personal information.
Because we are legally required to retain order records, a deletion request is handled by anonymising your information: your name, email address, phone number, address, IP address and browser details in our order records are replaced with non-identifying placeholders, while the order itself (products, amounts, dates) is kept for the required retention period. After anonymisation we can no longer link the order to you, so please make sure any open orders or after-sales requests are complete before asking for deletion.
To exercise these rights, email info@nicesnus.com from the address you used for your order. We may ask you to verify your identity (for example by confirming an order number or a code sent to your email) before acting on a request.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law; we will honour those rights to the extent they apply.
9. Children
The Site is intended for adults aged 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If you believe a person under 21 has placed an order or provided us with personal information, please contact us; we will cancel the order and anonymise the information.
10. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to order data, and leaving card processing to a payment processor so that card details never touch our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify you as required by law if a breach affects your information.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, and the "last updated" date shows when it was last changed. If we make material changes to how we use your information, we will take reasonable steps to bring them to your attention.
12. Contact
